GoStuds Content Policy
Guidelines for what content is allowed on GoStuds and how moderation is handled.
Last updated: 17/04/2026
1. Why This Policy Exists
GoStuds is built for people who want to build, collaborate, and move ideas forward. Content is a big part of how people interact here, through profiles, messages, projects, and discussions. This policy exists to make sure that everything shared on the platform supports that purpose. It's not about restricting creativity, but about keeping the space useful, respectful, and focused. When content aligns with the purpose, the platform works better for everyone.
2. What "Content" Means on GoStuds
On GoStuds, content includes everything you create, share, or interact with. This covers your profile information, project details, messages, comments, task descriptions, and any inputs you provide to AI features. It also includes any files, links, or text you upload or share within the platform. Essentially, if it's something you add to GoStuds, it falls under this policy. Understanding this helps you use the platform more responsibly.
3. Content That Is Allowed
Content on GoStuds should support collaboration, learning, and building. This includes sharing ideas, creating projects, communicating with teammates, and expressing your skills or goals. You are encouraged to be clear, creative, and authentic in how you present your work. Content that helps others understand, connect, or contribute is always welcome. The more useful and relevant your content is, the more value it creates for everyone.
4. Content That Is Not Allowed
Some types of content go against the purpose of GoStuds and are not allowed. This includes anything that harms users, misleads them, or disrupts the platform's ability to function as a collaborative space. Content should not create confusion, risk, or discomfort for others. If it takes away from building and collaboration, it doesn't belong here. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Content that is abusive, harassing, or threatening toward others.
- False or misleading information about skills, projects, or identity.
- Spam, irrelevant promotions, or repetitive messaging.
- Content that is illegal or violates applicable laws.
- Any material that promotes harmful or unethical activities.
5. Profile and Identity Content
Your profile is one of the most important parts of GoStuds, as it defines how others perceive and connect with you. It should reflect your real skills, interests, and intentions. Misleading profiles can lead to broken collaborations and loss of trust. Keeping your profile accurate and clear benefits both you and others. A strong profile makes better connections possible.
6. Project and Task Content
Projects and tasks should be described clearly so others can understand what you're building and how they can contribute. Vague, misleading, or unrealistic descriptions can create confusion and slow down collaboration. The goal is to make it easy for others to join and work effectively. Clear expectations lead to better execution. Content in projects should always aim to move work forward.
7. Messaging and Communication Content
Messages are meant to support collaboration and meaningful interaction. Content in messages should be respectful, relevant, and focused on building or connecting. Sending spam, irrelevant messages, or unwanted communication goes against the purpose of the platform. Good communication creates better teams. Poor communication creates friction.
8. AI-Generated Content
GoStuds allows you to use AI features to generate ideas, plans, and suggestions. While these tools are helpful, the content they produce should still be reviewed and used responsibly. You should not rely on AI outputs without understanding them. Any content generated using AI is still your responsibility. Use it as support, not as a shortcut. To keep this clear:
- AI-generated content must follow the same rules as user-created content.
- You are responsible for verifying its accuracy and relevance.
- Do not use AI to generate misleading or harmful content.
10. Enforcement and Moderation
To maintain a healthy environment, GoStuds may review and moderate content when necessary. This is done to ensure that the platform remains safe and useful for everyone. If content violates this policy, action may be taken depending on the situation. The goal is not to control users, but to protect the community. Fairness and consistency guide these decisions.
11. What Happens When Content Violates This Policy
If content does not follow these guidelines, it may be removed or restricted. In some cases, repeated or serious violations may lead to account limitations. These actions are taken carefully and only when needed. The intention is to maintain a space where people can build without disruption. Following the policy helps avoid these situations entirely.
12. Reporting Content
If you come across content that doesn't align with this policy, you can report it. This helps us identify issues and improve the platform experience for everyone. Reports are reviewed carefully and handled appropriately. Community participation plays an important role in maintaining quality. A better platform is built together.
13. Keep the Purpose Clear
GoStuds exists to help people build together, and everything on the platform should support that goal. Before launching or sharing anything, it helps to ask a simple question: Does this help someone build or collaborate? If the answer is yes, it belongs here. If not, it probably doesn't.
